3 years ago to the day we moved our family from Boise over here to Ammon. It seems like an eternity ago....especially when I look back at the faces of my tiny little boys. It was scary. It was lonely. It was hard.

We have grown up a lot being over here. We've relied on each other. We've been humbled. We've been blessed. Things haven't always been easy but we've definitely made the best of things even when there were days I just wanted to QUIT. We've made tons of memories and we've learned and learned some more.

I'm grateful for the peace of knowing that we belong here. Our kids are very happy here. They love their school, their neighbors and friends. They are SO busy and they are doing many good things.

We've got lots of new changes that are coming our way in the next few months. I'm finding peace in knowing that we are still supposed to be here and we will be taken care of. Our future can be bright.

Bearworld!

Summer is here (even though it feels far from it) and we're all adjusting to being home and spending our long days together. The boys have been fighting an awful lot and we're trying to get back in the routine of summer chores and responsibilities.

Nate's mom came up this week and has helped me pack and get ready for this move which should be taking place in about 2.5 weeks. Yes, the house is delayed but its coming along and I am sure getting excited about it. NEW everything! I can't wait for those perfectly clean walls, baseboards, floors, carpet that hasn't been peed or puked on. Oh yes, I am sure we'll break it in in NO time but I am so excited. The ONE thing I am sad about leaving.......other than the kid's friends in the neighborhood is our backyard. YES it is full of dandelions and the garden is a mess and the side yard is disastrous but it is still a place for the kids to run and play and for this first year we will have a lovely dirt yard to deal with. Bleh.

We had a blast though this week with Lee. We went up to Bearworld and played in the rain. It was wonderful since everyone left due to the bad weather. We're die hards though!

What a fun couple of days!

A perfect Saturday

Saturday we woke up and drove over to Twin Falls for Nate's bike race. My parents decided to come over to meet us and watch the race which was awesome! The Kopping Family called us on Friday night and wondered what we were doing for the long weekend. I didn't mention anything about maybe going to Twin (because at that point I was still on the fence about going) but then Nicole said..."Have you ever been to Shoshone Falls? We were thinking of going over to Twin Falls to check it out." Woo Hoo! It was a date!

Nate raced in the Twin Falls Crit in 2 races...both the cat 3,4,5 and the Master's B race. He did GREAT!

He had a nice solid finish in the first race. There was some time in between the 1st and 2nd race so my parents left and the Koppings, the kids and I left for Shoshone Falls and a picnic dinner.

We also went over to Dierkes Lake! SUPER fun place...I've never been there before! We'll have to go back for sure wearing our swim suits! ☺

As we started to trek back over to the race Nate called and told he us TOOK FIRST PLACE in the 2nd race! I couldn't believe that we missed it! Isn't that just how it goes though? I swear.

We made it back in time to watch him take the podium though!

After the race a photographer sent us some pictures from the race that I missed. Nate was able to pull away from the group and ride it alone for the entire 40 minute race. SO HARD to do! I'm super proud of him!

What a perfect day spent with family and friends and to top it off a first place finish. The weather was perfect too! What an incredible way to kick off our summer break! ☺

Last day of school!

Hard to believe that school is OV-AH for another year! The boys came home to signs which they are always excited about. Each boy ran through the sign of the year that they just completed! Ready or not....let the summer fun begin!

Kindergarten Graduation!

My baby boy graduated from KINDERGARTEN yesterday! We had a little graduation picnic over at the park with all of the parents, families and of course Mrs. Taylor! The kids ran around together and played for hours. It was so much better then the usual boring program and singing and what not. The kids AND the adults had a fun time! This past year literally FLEW by. I am so going to miss my baby boy next year when he goes to school all day like his big brothers. He has been SUCH an incredible help to me this past year. I'm crazy about him and I am so excited that we get the entire summer to PLAY PLAY PLAY before he heads to 1st grade!

Love you Mr. Lando!

Instagram Update

Who's up for a bit of instagram overload? Well, they are the only pictures I've been snapping lately so here we go:

The house is coming along slowly but surely. My guess is we're a couple of weeks delayed. We shall see.

Here is the decorative piece in the new baby's room:

My closet:
 Office closet:
 Windows in family room:
We've had movies in the backyard with the neighbor kids:
We're always driving to BASEBALL GAMES:
We're learning how to stand up in our cribs all by ourselves!
We're growing RAPIDLY with a 5th baby. My poor body hasn't even had time to recover from Anna last year.
I had a lovely Mother's Day full of delicious food

We've had end of the school year field trips:

We've been at lots of baseball games on the other side of town over by Reed's Dairy. YUM!

My best friend Ashley came up and helped me pack up some of the house. We went to Gatsby as a reward to ourselves for all of our hard work.
We've had date nights with our cute 3rd wheel.
We've jumped on the trampoline in the rain.
We're busy busy. 5 days until summer vacation. Y.E.S.
